Transdek secures repeat mezzanine lift order from expanding 4 Secure Self Storage

Due to the success of its efficient and reliable mezzanine floor lifts which were installed for 4 Secure Self Storage at their self storage facility in King’s Lynn, Transdek has won a repeat order for two additional lifts to service the companies expanding facility at Thetford and new premises in Norwich.

Established in 2003, and part of Norfolk based Simon Long Removals, 4 Secure Self Storage provide secure facilities with easy access for business or personal use for a wide range of customers in East Anglia. Available on a flexible rental agreement, room sizes vary from 15 sq ft to 160 sq ft in size.

Following the recent growth of the self storage industry and increased demand for their services, 4 Secure Self Storage have experienced significant growth which has fuelled the need for another two sites, both of which incorporate mezzanine storage areas.

Stacey Stevenson, Manager at 4 Secure Self Storage, says: “We decided to place the order for two additional lifts with Transdek due to their professional service. From our experience we know that we are receiving quality products and that Transdek provides excellent customer support from the start of the project through to completion.

“As well as being very reliable, Transdek’s mezzanine lifts are efficient, easy to operate and provide quick, safe access to the second level storage areas. It means we can move customer items cost effectively. Their 24/7 call out system also provides complete peace of mind throughout the lifetime of our products.”

With designs based on comprehensive site surveys, Transdek’s lifts were tailor made to meet 4 Secures exact specifications and manufactured by Transdek at their modern production facility in Doncaster. Each mezzanine lift is delivered in complete sections, ready to build up on site, which always takes under 2 days. The lifts have a safe working load of 1,000kgs and enable efficient movement of products between floors at warehouses, retail outlets, factories, as well as self-storage units.

With a reputation built upon their experience of providing over 350 goods lifts for the industry and proven track record for providing easy to install and operate equipment, the Yorkshire based manufacturer-supplier reports that over 50% of its mezzanine floor lift business is based on repeat orders.

“As a British innovator and manufacturer, we can quickly respond to build equipment that has a high level of safety as standard to meet specific needs and are very proud that this is recognised by customers confidently making repeat orders,” says Transdek’s Operations Manager Dean Butler.
