Following strong demand from customers due to the proven success of its current mezzanine floor lifts, Transdek UK Ltd has extended its product range by launching a single-pallet lift to meet the needs of customers and provide a quality, cost effective solution.
The new single-pallet lift model builds on the key benefits and established capabilities of the leading loading and lifting equipment specialist’s current mezzanine floor lift, providing a safe, quick and efficient option for facilitating the movement of goods between floor levels. The lift utilises the same hydraulic ram configuration to handle the movement of pallets or goods with a safe working load (SWL) of up to 1,000kgs (one tonne).
Leon Butler, Operations Director at Transdek UK, said: “Due to customer demand for solutions to meet specific needs, we’ve reconfigured our mezzanine floor lift for businesses that have either limited space or simply only have need to move small quantities between floors
“The new single pallet model is effectively a slimmer version and, in line with all our innovative equipment, is designed for rapid fitment with minimum disruption by our teams of specially trained engineers that carry out fast and efficient installations.”
The lift is supplied as a self-contained structure that is surface mounted, with no requirement for pre-dug pits or a bespoke motor room, which allows one to two day installation.
Transdek’s experienced team of surveyors work alongside customers and architects from the initial consultation through to site visits, planning and designing to ensure the correct solution is delivered to meet customer requirements.
Simple-to-use controls are mounted at both ground level and each landing. Once the car has been loaded, the car and outer gates are closed and locked. The lift can be called from the respective landing.
Transdek’s UK built lifts are all CE marked and built in compliance with The Supply of Machinery Regulations 2008 and to LOLER and PUWER regulations. The lifts feature twin interlocking outer gates, which prevent access to the lift if the platform is not aligned at the correct landing. The gate configurations also allow same side, through car or 90° layouts to provide complete versatility.
Safety valves, flow restrictors and hose rupture valves are fitted in the hydraulic system combined with fall arrest equipment. With such a range of industry leading safety features, and based on Transdek’s experience of supplying over 500 goods lifts, the machines are designed for complete piece of mind and are easy to maintain to give years of trouble free operation.
